La famosa colección Orbis Terrarum se inició con un tomo dedicado a España, Das unbekannte Spanien, de K. Hielscher (Berlín, 1922), publicado por la E. Wasmuth A. G. (El título de 'La España desconocida' quería simplemente recordar que por entonces España era poco visitada por los alemanes).
